
CEO
Joe Marchese is the CEO of Attention Capital, a holding company scaling the next generation of media and technology companies. A multiple time founder, and sometimes media executive, Joe is also the co-founder and Chairman of Human Ventures. As the President of Advertising Revenue for Fox Networks Group, Joe oversaw advertising sales and innovation for FOX Broadcast, FX, National Geographic and FOX Sports, which included tentpole advertising events like the World Series and Super Bowl. Prior to Fox, Joe served as CEO of true[X], the leader in engagement advertising technologies, which was acquired by Fox in 2015. He has co-founded a number of companies including Human Ventures, a venture capital fund and startup studio. Joe is a widely recognized leader in the media and technology industries and was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Achievement in 2016. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Paley Center for Media and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for Human Ventures, the Tribeca Film Institute, Team Rubicon, and Clear Channel Outdoor. He graduated from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance.

Managing Partner
Nick Bell was most recently Vice President and executive team member at Snap Inc where he oversaw Snapchat’s global content and partnership team and was responsible for building the company's Discover platform. Prior to joining Snapchat in 2014, Nick rose through the ranks at News Corporation to become Senior Vice President of Digital, a role in which he drove product development and strategy for some of the world's leading content and information publishers. Passionate about the intersection of digital and media, Bell is widely recognized as one of today’s most influential technology executives. He was selected as one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in 2016, featured in The Hollywood Reporter's Power Player List and featured at number 77 in Billboard Music’s Power 100 list. Nick currently serves as an advisor for Unicef’s Socceraid and is a member of the Recording Academy's technology committee.

Managing Partner
Ashlyn Gentry is a renegade academic turned business strategist. She began her career in politics and academia, studying and working on political campaigns while earning her doctorate at the University of Texas at Austin. She most recently served as Senior Vice President at Palantir’s commercial headquarters in New York, where she led growth strategy teams for clients representing the world’s top media companies and brands. Previously, Ashlyn served as Vice President at Hill+Knowlton Strategies—WPP’s international public relations firm—advising the Global Chairman in operations and client affairs. Prior, she led programs at the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life in Texas. Ashlyn serves on the boards of The Pitch Academy and Sky’s The Limit, and is an advisor to The 404.

Associate
Elissa is an associate at Attention Capital where she evaluates investment opportunities, supports portfolio companies, and develops and executes strategy for the holding company. Prior to joining Attention Capital, Elissa held various roles at Fox Networks Group (the FOX broadcast network, FX, National Geographic, and FOX Sports) with a focus on disrupting the advertising status quo. Elissa started her career at Altman Vilandrie & Company, a boutique TMT strategy consulting firm, where she conducted due diligence for private equity clients and developed corporate strategy recommendations for the Fortune 500. Elissa holds a B.S. from Duke University, where she studied Neuroscience and Economics. Elissa serves on the Alumni Leadership Board of Birthright Israel Excel and the Arthur Miller Foundation's Young Professional Council.

Head of Special Projects
Matthew joined Attention Capital after working in micro lending both internationally and domestically. His experience has spanned from designing and building a self-sustaining micro lending program as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana, West Africa, to working in financial strategy and impact evaluation at Grameen America underneath the leadership of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus. Matthew works with Attention Capital's senior leadership to take early ideas and market insights and turn them into concise, structured proposals for new business opportunities. He graduated from Northeastern University with a BS in Economics and Mathematics and a minor in Architectural History, he is also an alumni of the New York Community Trust Leadership Fellowship at the Baruch College Marxe School of International and Public Affairs.

VP of Finance and Business Strategy
Matt joins Attention Capital with after having spent the past twelve years helping media companies shape their strategy and operations in highly competitive markets. Prior to Attention Capital, Matt was one of the early employees at Barstool Sports, where he became Vice President of Strategic Finance and Business Operations. At Barstool, Matt was responsible for providing leadership and input on new strategic initiatives and developing a scalable approach to long term planning. Alongside the executive team, Matt was responsible for building the financial strategy and KPI infrastructure for the company and its new business opportunities Before joining Barstool Sports, Matt spent time at Fox, Broadway Video, and iHeartMedia where he was responsible for partnering with senior management teams to develop short, medium, and long-term business strategies as well as drive decision making. Matt earned his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and holds a BS from The Pennsylvania State University

Associate
Savannah joins Attention Capital with experience in finance, media, and film, television and theatrical production. A recent graduate of Harvard Business School, Savannah worked in investment banking at Evercore Partners, where she assessed and analyzed M&A and growth opportunities as part of the Tech team in the Menlo Park office. Prior to receiving her MBA, Savannah worked on the shareholder activism and raid defense team at Evercore Partners in New York. Before entering the world of finance, Savannah spent four years in media and entertainment in a variety of capacities, including production and development at HBO and as well as working directly on several commercially released feature films. She started her professional career working as the Apprentice to the Chairman and CEO of FOX Networks Group. Savannah received her B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University in 2012. Savannah also has experience directing full-scale theatrical productions at Stanford and Harvard.
